What is your favourite thing about being a tattooer?
“The short answer would be that I enjoy helping people.
Tattooing can be a be powerful and cathartic exercise of personal autonomy. I get to aid people in that exercise. It is the experience of owning one’s own body and and having the choice to adorn it. It is the capacity to choose that holds power. This is why it is important to me to honour my clients choices, I am simply a medium. I want clients to tell me exactly what they want and need during their appointment. I am humbled to view the highest highs and lowest lows of the human experience more often than most people do. I find fulfilment in helping people.”
